I live in a world were struggle for visibility is part of the normal existence. The world has clearly changed over the past few centuries and things are viewed differently in every individual's eyes, every person has their own perspective on how to view the world and have their own dreams of becoming a sensation in life. From generation to generation everything seems to surpass its virtue and changes go from either good to best or from bad to worst. Human beings are the smartest speicies the world has ever seen, they haven't drastically changed the face of planet earth but humankind has altered thus a new age has been created. The world is certainly a dangerous place not because of the people who are evil and creating mass distractions but because of the people who don't do anything about it.
To tell or not to tell the truth has been since the profession of journalism has begun has been the most complicated dilemma for people for people who work in this area. A lot goes on around the world within a blink of an eye from new inventions, unforseen acts by humans, natural disasters, deaths and births thus journalism has found the platform to report eveything that happens around. News was written in clay tablets during Caesar's era, but now since it is the developed 21st century, news is presented in TV, radio or in a form of a newspaper. Although news is a window on the world and at the same time a transparency falllacy, some people still feel that whatever they get from the craft of journalism is nothing but the truth, which is not always the case. Journalism is also a source of information and it is good at exposing the hidden agendas which the community has the right to know about. This aims at young and aspiring journalists who feel as though more can be done to improve the world of journalism, be it at any field.
Life as a journalism student is indeed bliss because new things introduce themselves to me. At first, narrow-minded and believed every single detail that the news fed me but nowadays with all the knowledge acquainted from journalism, everything that is reported is vigilantly analysed before being digested to my system. Being a journalism student requires a lot of experience in the real world, it means that you have to be aware of everything that is going on around you and the core factor is how well do the stories get reported. Come along as we venture into this voyage to discover the true essence of the world of journalism!
